Alliance Française French Film Festival

Presented by MSC Cruises, the 35th edition of the festival is set to captivate audiences across Australia from March 5th to April 21st. This year’s program places a spotlight on contemporary creation, emphasising emerging talents and innovative voices shaping the French cinematic landscape.

In South Australia, film enthusiasts can enjoy screenings from March 21st to April 16th at Palace Nova Eastend and Prospect Cinemas in Adelaide.

Additional screenings will take place in Renmark from March 22nd to April 6th at the Chaffey Theatre, in Victor Harbour from April 4th to April 10th at the Victa Cinema, and in Mt Gambier from April 17th to April 21st at the Sir Robert Helpmann Theatre.

The festival’s whirlwind program includes 41 films, featuring some of the greatest directors and biggest stars of French cinema. Notable directors such as Catherine Breillat, Michel Gondry, and Albert Dupontel will grace the silver screen alongside celebrated actors like Juliette Binoche, Catherine Deneuve, Daniel Auteuil, Laure Calamy, and Camille Cottin.
