arkhé and friends – James Lowe
arkhé & friends is a year-long series of world-class chef collaborations taking place at Jake Kellie’s arkhé in Adelaide. The sixth event will be held on Thursday 10th October from 6.30pm, in collaboration with James Lowe.
James is the owner and head chef of Lyle’s in London, winning a Michelin-star 18 months after the venue’s opening, and has also featured in The World’s 50 Best Restaurants.
Lowe was named breakthrough chef of the year at the Food & Travel Awards in 2015, as well as best chef at the GQ Food & Drink Awards in 2016. Growing up in the English county of Sussex before moving to London at age 22, Lowe began his culinary career at The Wapping Project, before honing his skills in lauded restaurants including Michelin-starred La Trompette, Heston Blumenthal’s three Michelin-starred Fat Duck and a period at The River Cafe. Lowe also co-founded the London-based chef collective, Young Turks, as a platform for chefs to work together and promote small producers and collaboration.
Lowe will bring his globally renowned culinary expertise to Adelaide for a curated menu exclusive to arkhé this October.
Tickets are $450 per person and include of an eight course menu with a Laphroaig cocktail on arrival and wine pairings.
