SALA Festival

The South Australian Living Arts (SALA) Festival is a statewide celebration of visual art over the month of August. Promoting local living artists throughout the month, this festival takes place across more than 500 different venues in the state.

You’ll have the opportunity to explore the works of approximately 8,000 South Aussie artists at different stages of their careers, working in a range of different mediums. As well as galleries and online, the works will also be hosted in sheds, cafés, retail spaces, offices, wineries and other non-traditional venues, making for a unique and vibrant experience of South Australia’s artistic talent.

You can simply take it all in with a tour, immerse yourself in the talent at one of the many venues, or lean into your own artistic expression with one of the SALA workshops.
