Racing enthusiasts and fashionistas will descend on Allan Scott Park, Morphettville Racecourse on Monday the 14th of March for Adelaide’s premier social day of racing, the Adelaide Casino Adelaide Cup.
A day of thrilling thoroughbreds, fabulous fashion, flowing fizz and brilliant betting, there is no better day to experience racing in South Australia. South Australian Jockey Club, Chief Executive Officer, Brenton Wilkinson says, “The best place to experience the excitement of Adelaide Casino Adelaide Cup is trackside at Morphettville. This year we’re expecting a bumper crowd in excess of 15,000 racegoers, with plenty of action on and off the track including Myer Fashions on the Field and a great line up of live entertainment.”While the ever popular Upper Tapestry Pavilion, Panasonic Fashion Pavilion and Winning Post Restaurant have already sold out, there are limited hospitality packages still available, with The Nova Stables proving a popular choice for those looking for a party atmosphere
Ladies will also be treated to pampering aplenty at The Powder Room. A great place to recharge and refresh inbetween races, The Powder Room will be open from 11am to 5pm and offers make-up touchups by Vani-T Emporium, with hair by Abache. Entry to The Powder Room is by gold coin donation with all proceeds going to charity
Gates open at 9am, with racing to commence at around midday.
