Exciting New Additions Announced For The Adelaide Fashion Festival Starting This Week

The premier fashion event in Adelaide the Adelaide Fashion Festival presented by Mercedes-Benz begins this week and there have been some exciting announcements in its much anticipated beginning…

With just a few days to go, the new-look Adelaide Fashion Festival presented by Mercedes-Benz Adelaide (AFF) continues to attract “on brand” innovative and luxury partners, announcing today that Palladium on Light has joined the ranks as a Premier Partner for this year’s event.

Tessa Moorfield, Development Manager, Palladium on Light said that the gorgeous boutique dwellings will epitomise elegance, style and vibrancy – Palladium on Light is the perfect fit for the Festival.

“Palladium on Light is pleased to be part of the AFF family. We will work together to create a long term vision consistent with a vibrant city agenda. Joining a world class event and contemporary boutique apartment living is a perfect marriage,” she said.

Ms Moorfield went on to say that they are looking forward to telling their story through the AFF.

“Every detail has been focused on to achieve homes that not only look sensational, but feel incredible. In a way this is what every fashion designer wants for their clients – this is our version of the season’s must have item, Adelaide’s most fashionable address,” said Ms Moorfield.

This announcement coincides with further program additions including the Connecting with China Workshop at Electra House (tickets $35pp), the Fashion Insiders Breakfast at Jaimie’s Kitchen (tickets $65) and the blazing success of Tiff Manuell continues to excite with the addition of her bespoke Art Wear into the Couture Culture line up (tickets start at $30), after her installation show sold out.

Tiff Manuell was overwhelmed with the support she has received.

“I love statement pieces that take your breath away. This collection is for the discerning female who is looking for unexpected, unique and wearable pieces. I’m overwhelmed with the support I’ve had, not only by the AFF, but peers and clients alike,” said Tiff Manuell.

Other program highlights include the Designer Runway at Glenelg on Glenelg Jetty and your chance to uncover your urban princess at the Chittleborough Lane warehouse. Past favourites continue to grow in popularity including the ultimate high tea at the Norwood Place Parades on Norwood Parade and your favourite long lunch, Variety on King William.

Visit the program tab on www.adelaidefashionfestival.com.au for more information on these and other great events. Some events are free, and ticketed events start from $30 and can be purchased through the website.

AFF is entertainment for everybody, so book your tickets today to avoid disappointment. October is proving to be a month-long celebration of design, creativity and innovation in South Australia. 2015 marks the eighth year of the AFF, but the first year presented by Events South Australia, the major events division of the South Australian Government and an arm of the South Australian Tourism Commission.
