Exciting plans have been unveiled for a new lifestyle community in the coastal town of Normanville. The park will offer tourist cabins, caravan sites with ensuites, camping sites, and a residential park. The park will be perfect for tourists visiting the Fleurieu Peninsula, family holidays, and retirees looking for an exciting change.

Located a short distance from the stunning Normanville beach, this new tourist park will be a must-stay on your future Fleurieu Peninsula holiday. Only 1.5 Km south of the Normanville township, the location allows for easy exploration of the Fleurieu Peninsula area.

The rural site was purchased in September 2023 by the Aspen Group, the leading provider specialising in lifestyle, living and holiday park communities. They currently have over 5,000 dwellings and sites around the nation. Their goal is that this development is ideally located and provides affordable retirement and holiday accommodation in Normanville.

The Caravan and Tourist Park will contain 20 tourist cabins, 20 caravan sites with ensuites and 79 camping sites. The Park will also include tourism facilities and services, including an office, an amenities building and recreation areas, such as pools and sports courts, that will enhance visitor experiences and enjoyment.

Providing short-term accommodation for tourists, the park provides a variety of accommodation types including camping sites, sites for caravan, campers and recreational vehicles (RVs), as well as self-contained holiday cabins.

The Resident Park will comprise of 181 land lease dwellings on individual sites and includes the development of a community building, visitor car parking area, community facilities and recreation areas. Develop a community with like-minded individuals staying at the next-door dwelling.

Take your lawn bowls for a spin on their signature bowling green. Establish teams with your new neighbours. Spend your days challenging each other on the bowling green.

The proposed Residential Park is to be occupied by persons over the age of 50 years. This differs from a conventional retirement village model as residents own the dwelling and lease the land, rather than owning the dwelling and the land, meaning a lower entry price for occupants of the dwellings. Under this structure most residents will be eligible for Commonwealth Rent Assistance.

Based on these plans, this park will be the perfect home base for Fleurieu Peninsula holidays and for retirees to have a refreshing change is scenery.
