Albert Arthur’ Shiraz wins Gold at the Adelaide Hills Wine Show!
2009 Verdun Park Wines ‘Albert Arthur’ Shiraz won a gold medal in last weeks 2012 Adelaide Hills Wine Show. The contest between this wine and the overall trophy winner was so close with judges spending a considerable amount of time deliberating over the last two wines. One of the wine show judges Sue Bell said “You were a whisker away! Judges were equally divided between the two.” 2009 Verdun Park Wines ‘Albert Arthur’ Shiraz was released in July and is Verdun Park Wines’ first Shiraz release. Only 140 dozen of this vintage have been produced and each bottle is hand numbered.
