H58 Market’s have been a popular and bustling addition to Adelaide’s selection of family-friendly activities- and this halloween, the market will be setting up camp for an epic special edition market at the Old Adelaide Gaol.
Said to be one of South Australia’s most haunted buildings, the Old Adelaide Gaol will host the the iconic markets, featuring an exciting selection of South Australia’s best food and crafts vendors.
To keep the family entertained, the gaol will be running a special spooky ghost tour of the building that housed some of states most dangerous and murderous criminals.
With plenty of historical and paranormal stories in store, the 90-minute twilight tour has been redesigned for a younger audience, meaning it’s a great way to keep your inquisitive kids engaged with the friendly halloween spirit.
For the faint hearted members of the family, a walk amongst the markets will feature a selection of handmade gifts and homewares, clothing and jewellery, pottery and sculptures, and locally-made savouries and sweets.
If you find yourself getting hungry from your lavish shopping and ghost adventures, you will be pleased to know that there’ll be a delectable range of options from local food and beverage vendors.
Set to host authentic Greek food by Evi’s Grecian Delights, Turkish street food by Uz Gozleme, Italian coffee by Cenz & Co, South African street food by Bunnychownow, top-quality bread by Rosie’s Rise, and a crowd of other incredible vendors- visitors certainly won’t be stumped for variety.
The dog-friendly event will even host The Hungry Pup, an SA owned and operated dog treat business, specialising in healthy dog treats and pupcakes. Trust us, your dog will thank you!
Welcoming all of Adelaide to attend the markets, guest are invited to bring their picnic blankets and spread out for a sunny afternoon at the Old Adelaide Gaol.
