We are lucky to have the world at our feet here in Adelaide. We can experience the taste of the world in so many different ways.
The most obvious (and our fave for even more obvious reasons) is food. There are an absolute plethora of choices when it comes to cuisines in our beautiful city. From Lebanese, Vietnamese, Polish, Moroccan, all the way to Mexican and Brazilian, we are most certainly spoilt for choice.
So if food is the obvious way that we can experience a little piece of another country in our own backyard, then what are the other ways?
Well how about learning a language, attending a cultural event or shopping at a specialty store? But where do we find all of those things? Well the Adelaide City Council have made a fabulous addition to their website with their Taste The World At Home webpage.
At the simple click of a mouse you can narrow the option down by continent and country as well as what you are looking for: food and drink, language classes, cultural, shopping or events.
On in interactive map, the options pop up so that you can click and choose what to look at. It is so easy!!
We will be using this handy little page to find out next delicious feast and maybe to indulge in a little language class!
