These school holidays, Cimicky Wines is the perfect destination for families with its stunning historical cellar door known and new wine releases.

These school holidays, Cimicky Wines in the heart of the Barossa Valley is the perfect destination for families, with its stunning historical cellar door known as ‘Cimicky Castle,’ exciting new wine releases, and family-friendly experiences.

While at the winery, parents can check out Cimicky’s latest 2022 wine releases. A standout is the 2022 Cimicky Piping Shrike Cabernet Merlot, which beautifully combines the fruity softness of Merlot with the strong structure of Cabernet Sauvignon. Another highlight is the 2022 Cimicky Trumps Shiraz, featuring fresh, spicy fruit aromas and a dark berry palate with hints of liquorice.

Rounding off the new offerings is the 2022 Cimicky BDX, a medium-bodied blend of three classic French varieties. It showcases freshness with hints of ripe blueberry and cranberry. Cimicky’s commitment to quality has even earned them a place on Buckingham Palace menus, and a huge international following.

But the experience at Cimicky Wines goes beyond just great new wines. The cellar door, known as ‘Cimicky Castle,’ is a historical gem. Built over 50 years ago by the Cimicky family, it still has its original design, making it a great spot for families to explore. The castle is surrounded by spacious gardens, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful spring sunshine.

A beautiful feature of the grounds is the archway cellar door, built in 2008 by Charles Cimicky as a French-style wine barrel cellar. It’s currently being renovated to become a stunning, expansive event space, perfect for special occasions like weddings.

These school holidays, you can also check out the brand-new Cimicky Wine & Cheese Pairing Experience which will be launching on the long weekend of October 5th. For just $35 per person (minimum of two), you can enjoy a delicious cheese board paired with the wines you taste.

While parents enjoy the wines, kids can explore the beautiful grounds, making it a fun outing for the entire family. With its rich history, stunning scenery, and family-friendly experiences, Cimicky Wines in the Barossa Valley is the perfect destination these school holidays.
