Your next trip to Fleurieu Peninsula is about to get even more splendid. Check out the amazing Coast to Vines adventure which is perfect to explore the region with warm months ahead.

It’s a coast to vine experience that immerses you into our beautiful Fleurieu Peninsula while enjoyed the delicious food and wine that it produces.

Firstly, adventure-goers will arrive at the beachside suburb of Moana where they will take a crash course on riding an electric bike.

From here, you’ll go on an e-bike adventure along the stunning coastline with the sound and scent of the ocean crashing nearby.

Next is to stand-up paddle boarding. You’ll have lessons on the Onkaparinga River and try your best to keep upright with guaranteed laughs.

After this, visitor will get a little shower break to refresh, then it’s off to a gorgeous lunch at a local eatery. Beer and wine tasting will follow this as you relax into the afternoon after a loaded day of fun.

Gone Awol Tours owner Luke Harris has been running the tours for 2 years and said it’s an amazing experience.

“We’ve got amazing landscape and offerings here right on our door step,” Luke said.

“We’re right near the beach, river and hills.

“We start off in Moana seeing the cliffs and the water, then I get them realising how easy paddle boarding is. Most get it in 5 minutes it’s really fun – those who get it quickly can get advanced tours.”

He said the tour is flexible and it’s all about immersing in the region.

“With the lunch and wine tasting its really about providing a real experience,” Luke said.

“We meet the wine maker, taste out of barrels, and eat the local cuisine.

“We usually go to Agestino Wines in Aldinga or Ogre Brewing Co. in McLaren Vale. Sometimes I take people to fancy places like The Salopian Inn.

“I want those who go on the tour to soak in what we’ve got.”

Tickets for the experience are $180 per person and include the adventure experiences, wet suits and transport back to central location.

Not included in the tickets are the meals and drinks as well as the tasting fees. With a massive day exploring the region, it’s recommended to wear weather appropriate clothes that are comfortable to ride in too.
