Looking for brunch with an atmosphere, or an inspiring workspace to kick-start the creative juices? Head to Richmond Road and visit popular cafe and creative hub, Karma and Crow.

This former warehouse is now peppered with greenery and full of natural light, with a recycled wood counter centrepiece. The funky space is also home to local resident artists, with the studios privately leased out. These tenants have studios of their own within a small community of studios. In further support of local creatives and businesspeople, the shelves in Karma and Crow are stocked with retail items from a range of local makers. Punters can relax in the wide, open space and breathe in naturally plant-purified air, all whilst supporting local artists.

Then, of course, there’s the food and drink. Karma and Crow stocks SA based Monastery Coffee and Mischief Brew. In terms of food, the newly launched Winter menu leaves nothing to be desired, featuring pulled jackfruit baos and a bagel with bacon, fried egg, Swiss cheese, and chilli jam.

Another delectable dish is the Australian native hotcakes with white chocolate and lavender labneh, pistachio and macadamia crumb, maple coconut icecream, orange gel, strawberry gum, poppy seeds and lavender glass.

As well as this, Karma and Crow is firmly committed to sustainability, boasting eco-friendly interiors, bio-plastic cups, paper straws, and SUSTOMI sustainable food storage available for retail.

You can find Karma & Crow at 251 Richmond Road, Richmond SA 5033

Opening hours: Mon – Wed 7:30 – 2:30pm, Thurs – Sun 7:30 – 3:30pm.
