Retro-themed eatery Extra Chicken Salt have announced the addition of another bottomless lunch to their weekly offerings, with a family-friendly bottomless rotisserie chicken Sunday dinner.
A marked departure from their regular Peel Street late-night party vibes, the venue’s latest deal is positioned to appeal to families looking for a relaxed lunch in the city, where diners will be able to feast on a bottomless helping of succulent rotisserie chicken, with all the trimmings you’d find on one of Mum’s Sunday dinners, including seasonal roast veggies, crispy roast potatoes cooked in chicken fat and even Yorkshire Puddings.
Headlining the bottomless offering will be weekly guest meats including leg of lamb, pork belly, and steak, with the side offerings alternating each week, so guests can load their plate high with delicious cauliflower cheese one Sunday and garden peas with herb and garlic butter the next.
Not leaving out those who prefer their plates meat-free, Extra Chicken Salt is providing a vegetarian and vegan option including rotisserie cooked maple-glazed pumpkin or cauliflower, equally as delicious and filling as their meat counterparts.
The new offering will set adults back $35pp, with kids eating for $10, joining the venue’s existing bottomless Saturday deal for late-night revellers which includes all you can eat chicken and chips, washed down with your choice of sangria, tap beer, Prosecco, rosé or a number of delicious in-house cocktails.
Parents can sit back and relax, enjoying their meal without the pressure of entertaining the little ones with ECS’s pinball machine and vintage arcade games providing hours of fun for the younger guests.
A specially created ‘Mum and Dad Playlist’ will be on repeat throughout the lunch, so you can enjoy your bottomless feast to a backdrop of 70’s and 80’s classics such as Billy Joel, Electric Light Orchestra and AC/DC.
The bottomless rotisserie chicken lunch will be available between 12 and 3 on Sundays, and launches on June 20.
