Extras wanted in the Flinders Ranges for new Jamie Dornan series ‘The Tourist’

If you’ve ever wanted a chance to be on TV (alongside icons Hugo Weaving, Jamie Dornan & more amazing actors), here is your chance.

The Tourist, a co-production for BBC One and Stan, and produced by Two Brothers Pictures in association with Highview Productions, is a six-part drama series following a man who, after losing his memory, is on a quest to unlock the secrets of his identity before those who are trying to kill him catch up with him. Filming is taking place predominantly in regional areas of South Australia, with filming also planned for Adelaide.

Jamie Dornan (A Private War, The Fall, Wild Mountain Thyme) has been cast in the lead role of the series.

Joining Dornan in the star-studded cast are Danielle Macdonald (Stan Original Film I Am Woman, Unbelievable), Shalom Brune-Franklin (Line of Duty, Roadkill) and Hugo Weaving (The Lord of The Rings, Patrick Melrose).

As part of the production, location shoots include multiple locations in and around the Flinders Ranges, with Terowie, Peterborough, Hawker, Quorn and Port Augusta all making the list.

Now a call out for extras has been shared, with shoot dates between April 5th and May 8th, and between June 21st and July 30th.

You’ll be asked to fill out an extras application form and take two photos, a headshot and full body shot (natural not glamorous). You can complete the form and bring it with you to the castings, or they can help you fill it out on the day. If so, please make sure you also bring:

Availability details (prefer extras with no day/time constraints)
Which of the four shoot locations you’d like to be considered for – Terowie, Peterborough, Hawker, Quorn and/or Port Augusta
Height (in centimeters)
Dress, shirt, pant and shoe sizes
Chest, waist, hip & head measurements (in centimeters)
