EYRE.WAY is a tiny, off-grid, glass-filled, luxe getaway near Port Lincoln

EYRE.WAY is a stunning glass filled, beachy luxe getaway, located close to Port Lincoln, yet seemingly miles away from everyone and everything. It’s remote bliss at its best.

After only opening its doors mere weeks ago, EYRE.WAY tiny house has already been inundated with national sports stars, fashion designers, and media personalities, all keen to stay at one of SA’s most sought after destinations.

EYRE.WAY is a stunning glass filled, beachy luxe getaway, located close to Port Lincoln, yet seemingly miles away from everyone and everything. It’s remote bliss at its best.

A short 25 minute drive from Port Lincoln, at the bottom of South Australia’s Eyre Peninsula, your adventure starts at Boston Bean Coffee Bar, where you’ll pick up your keys, and some of popular coffee that Boston Bean is known for. Then it’s time to head bush.

As you follow the patinated signposts through a remote farm’s paddocks along the coastline, the perfect isolation of EyreWay hits you.

It’s well and truly off grid, and abundantly private, giving you a wonderful sense of peace as you roll up to the picture-perfect, white panelled tiny home.

Nestled in the fields and surrounded by golden grasses, scorched by the sun, green outcrops of native bush cradles the base of the house, which offers sweeping 180 degree views of the spectacular endless coast near Whalers Bay.

Ancient headlands, rocky cliffs, and distant white sand dunes create an ever changing landscape to keep you entertained throughout the seasons.

A raised deck greets you, which extends out the front of the tiny getaway, giving guests the perfect viewing platform to glimpse the waves crashing below.

The outdoor table setting invites you to embrace the rustic surrounds, and enjoy the soundscape offered by this remote destination. Bright green Australian ringneck parrots dance on the breeze and give you a colourful show amongst the foliage.

Inside EYRE.WAY it’s a bright, pastel and white dream.

Natural tones and textures compliment the decor which features luxurious touches bringing a sense of indulgence to the space.

Linen robes, a golden B&O bluetooth speaker, hand made artisan plates and mugs, custom-designed leather couches, blush woven leather stools, and gorgeous textured linen all add to the beachy magazine feel of the destination. A clever leather cushioned bench which contains storage for games, also transforms into a coffee table.

The elegance of the fit out brings an inviting vibe to the accommodation, which instantly feels like home.

A king sized bed forms a feature of the interior, situated at the back of the living area. It offers up the perfect place to sit and read a book, or relax and soak in the views, in the glass filled abode.

From the bed, your views of the dense greenery of the native plants, the cliffs, and ocean beyond are the perfect setting to wake up to.

The flourishing fiddle leaf fig apparently loves the greenhouse ambiance of the glass house, while air con, overhead fan, and a great cross breeze if you open the doors, provide multiple ways to offset the heat on summer days.

Solar and batteries power the site, with ample instructions left for guests, to ensure you know how to navigate the power grid.

The gorgeous little kitchen offers up a two burner stove for indoor cooking (there’s also a Weber outside for BBQing), and a fridge and freezer to keep your food, ice and drinks cool. A larger fridge/freezer is tucked away outside if you bring extra goodies, but we found it wasn’t necessary for a regular stay. Good to have as an option though!

To keep the space tidy, there’s subtle hidden cupboards located in the bed head, while you can actually lift the bed to store bags and supplies underneath.

As you’d expect in a tiny home, it’s all about the details and the unique uses of space.

Above the king sized bed is a small loft, perfect for additional guests or your kids – and our two girls (8 & 10) loved it.

The bathroom is nothing short of amazing, with a gorgeous double headed shower, perfect for couples, framing the modern room. Water is limited, but still generous, with guests asked to consider their use while at the destination. Matte gold taps and hardware add a classy touch, along with carefully chosen shower and skincare products.

A stones throw from the house is a spectacular cliff top, affording ridiculous views of a private white beach, aqua waters, and stunning cliffs. There’s a track to follow which will get you down to the beach, but we’d recommend not taking too much with you, as you’ll need to carry it all back up the hill!

The beach in front of the accommodation

Another track in front of the house, off to the right, takes you over to Fishery Beach and Whalers Way, which is a short 15 minute walk, or a rocky drive should you have a sturdy 4WD.

The building boasts incredible huge glass panes, across three sides of the getaway, framing different, stunning views. It really keeps drawing your eyes away from whatever you’re doing, transfixing you to the mesmerising scenes outside.

Directly in front of the property, the deep blue waters of Sleaford Bay reflect the endless blue skies, offsetting the lush greenery lining the cliffs.

If you take a short walk behind the house, you’ll discover a low scrub line, where koalas tend to congregate, offering guests a glimpse of the wildlife surrounding the area.

Then, as the sun sets in the scrub towards Whalers Way, a whole new kind of beauty envelops the area. Dusty pink skies circle the property as the moon rises, giving you a whole new appreciation for the varying views at your doorstep.

As night falls, millions of stars light up the sky (along with a nearly full moon for us) so once your star gazing is done, the incredibly subtle electric blinds come in handy, to block out the street lamp like glow of the moon, and allow you to sleep in past sunrise. Then as you lay there basking in your comfy king size bed in the morning, you can flick the switch, the blinds glide up, and you can start enjoying the off grid beauty for another day.

EYRE.WAY is the perfect spot to truly unwind, enjoy nature and get away from it all, and it’s the perfect romantic destination for couples. Just be quick to book, as this hidden gem won’t stay a secret for long!

EYRE.WAY’s first tiny abode Yambara is now available from $450.00 per night.
