On Tuesday 28th of January, a Fullarton resident’s beloved Toy Cavoodle was stolen in a daylight hours break-in. Police were immediately notified and are investigating the situation.
SAPOL issued a statement today, saying the following:
“Police are investigating a break-in at Fullarton yesterday where owners dog was stolen.
On Tuesday 28 January police were called to a home on Fisher Street following reports of a break-in.
Police believe the break-in occurred sometime between 8.30am and 5.30pm with neighbours reporting hearing noises around 1pm.
An 8 year-old, red brown toy cavoodle by the name of Flossie was stolen from the property.”
Owner Ann-Louise posted on Facebook yesterday after the break-in, desperate for anyone to come forward with information, so she can be reunited with her cherished pet. The post was as follows:
“Someone broke into my house in Fisher St Fullarton SA, around 1pm 28 January and stole my little red toy poodle Flossie. She has been taken from her family and home. She is desperately missed and would be desperate to come home. Please share this please help her come home.
My laundry door was smashed. Flossie was carried over a locked side gate. There was no way she ran.
The police have confirmed she was stolen. I just want her back. If someone has her PLEASE take her to the police or take her to a vet and she can be returned to me. I am completely devastated and worried about her.”
Flossie’s owner and SAPOL urge anyone with information to come forward. SAPOL said, “Flossie is micro chipped, and police are appealing for witnesses and ask anyone who may have been in the vicinity to contact Crime Stoppers at www.crimestopperssa.com.au/ or on 1800 333 000. You can remain anonymous.”
