Top fashion designers, including Liza Emanuele, Melanie Flintoff and Eli Zaikos-Ridley will take to centre stage for the inaugural charity event, Fashion Grand Slam – a series of exclusive fashion cocktail parties held across Adelaide over five weeks.
The designers and leading retail brands will get up close and personal with guests over cocktails as they share their hottest tips on winter trends for 2015, while raising much-needed funds for the Women’s & Children’s Hospital Foundation through TeamKids.
Launching on 30 April at Burnside Village, Fashion Grand Slam will celebrate local designers every Thursday throughout May from 5.30pm to 7.30pm at five different locations around Adelaide.
The exclusive event is set to attract Adelaide fashionistas and fashion lovers alike, who will be treated to nibbles and bubbles and get a sneak peek at the latest trends for winter. There will also be exciting prizes up for grabs, including a $2,500 voucher for the featuring designers’ stores and a special styling session to be drawn at the final event.
Fashion Grand Slam coincides with the Women’s & Children’s Hospital Foundation’s annual month-long Mother’s May campaign, which will raise awareness and much-needed funds for vital equipment in the Neonatal Intensive Care and Paediatric Intensive Care units at hospital.
The Foundation is the hospital’s official charity, supporting more than 250,000 seriously ill babies, women and children treated each year.
