New Year, new concept: Splash Adelaide, FTM Model Management and Glam Adelaide presents the first Fashion Concept show of Adelaide creative designers.
Fashion Concept is pleased to announce their first giant leap towards creating a one-of-a-kind fashion show. An initiative created to build local awareness and exposure for our home-grown labels, Fashion concept will bring together 14 of Adelaide’s up and coming designers on one runway, pairing with elite models from FTM Model Management to create the first of many amazing shows.
This new and exclusive parade is aimed to showcase and promote young and talented designers, giving them exposure to a wide Adelaide audience. Come along and view iconic looks from each fashion label. Including women’s wear labels:
- Ashlee Graham showing a new winter range
- Atlas the label in their second ever runway show – be one of the first to see this new and upcoming label
- Closet Mod will take you a step back in time with 60s inspired fashion and showing winter pieces
- Georgia Guy, 2013 Adelaide Fashion Festival Emerging Designer of the Year, will bring you an exciting range of beautifully tailored women’s clothing designed to be classic, long-lasting additions to your wardrobe
- Marija Mita a new and upcoming designer who focuses on made to order
- Millicent Elizabeth is the runner up for 2014 Adelaide Fashion Festival Emerging Designer and will be showcasing a new instalment to their label
- Namoi, who produces ranges of silk and jersey basics and statement pieces. Natural textiles in conjunction with drapery allow for an effortlessly beautiful and striking silhouette
- Willow & Grace aiming to create fashionable garments, with edgy designs and the perfect amount of intricate details to keep things interesting
- Yvonne Faye showcasing their newest collection featuring stunning electric blue pieces
Menswear label Fools and Trolls and selected pieces from Created Range will be showcasing men’s street wear. Jeans Corp will also be on parade, who specialise in denim wear and custom-made leather jackets. Handbags featured on the runway will be designed and made by Olivia Nicole, and handcrafted shoe designs filled with attitude and personality by Maria Rasimoglou will also be featured.
Guests will be welcomed with a complimentary beverage on arrival and be pampered with an exclusive gift bag. There will be performances by talented South Australian artists including a feature act by The Voice 2012 and Australian Idol contestant Sarah Lloyde and mesmerising belly dance act by Nayima Hassan.
