After the success of the first Fashion Concept event in February this year, its second coming on Wednesday 26 August is set to show off more of South Australia’s up and coming fashion designers.
Established to showcase the amazing up and coming fashion talent that our state has, Fashion Concept offers a platform for local designers to not only show off their latest collection but also to build the exposure that they need to really take off in the industry.
This is the second event for director Hue Le and creative producer Lily Lou. The event they have put together is sure to please all fashionistas with the fashion forward, fast paced showcase featuring some new labels, some past crowd pleasers and a very special guest designer.
Highlights on the night will include a new line up of designers for women’s wear including Paige Rowe, Revoque, Iliana The Label and Natalie Ivanov. Men’s wear label Average Cat and the stunning millinery of Sylvy Earl will also grace the runway. Joining them are past crowd pleasers, Millicent Elizabeth, Ashlee Graham, Closet Mod and street wear label Fools and Trolls. Live mannequins will be an amazing feature at the event, with the ‘dolls’ wearing special guest Jaimie Sortino’s stunning gowns.
Steve the Bartender will also be on hand to create amazing cocktails, plus guests will receive a complimentary drink on arrival.
With so much focus lately being on supporting South Australia, this event, sponsored by Splash Adelaide, continues on that path and with a bill full of so much local talent it is no wonder why!
