It’s knock off o’clock and you’re looking across the Mall as shoppers frenzy in the winter evening while your recline against your seat, glass of liquor in hand. It’s the first Friday of the month, the EOFY is done, and The Hotel Richmond is offering exactly that. Well, with a little something extra for the fashionistas as well.
You see, The Hotel Richmond are also greeting July 1 with a very special Fashion First runway showcasing Adelaide designer Ashlee Graham. Her latest collection is called “Glass Horizons” is her upcoming 2016 Spring collection and the third inspired by the city. Her designs achieve comfort as well as sophistication, with carefully selected luxurious materials, paired with architectural, structured silhouettes. Glass Horizons is the ultimate in hard meets soft. Textured vegan leather, metal hardware and soft suede drapes hit all the right notes for this season.
You got all that, right?
The short of it is, who doesn’t love a bit of opulence, a bit of culture, a bit of local je ne sais quoi on your Friday night? Kicking off at 7pm, with a free EFFEN Vodka on arrival which should take the chill off quick smart.
Oh and when you head in there be sure to wish the staff a happy birthday as this is the 90th year of The Hotel Richmond, still locally owned and operated. They might give you an odd look but that’s perfectly ok. You did a good deed.
