Fashion Shows (produced by Bizzaro Events Management with choreography by Filip Odzak from Fashion Squared), are set to strut this weekend with creations from Cristina Tridente and Paolo Sebastian, two of Australia’s shinning lights who have captured the imagination of fashion fans.

Couture+Love+Madness is created to flatter the female form and the majority of garments are embellished and appliqué. As Cristina states, "I want to make women feel beautiful, confident and unique yet comfortable enough to thoroughly enjoy a special occasion. Couture does not have to be limited to un-wearable art and for me, my ‘love’ of couture has been a mad passion! Hence my label: couture+love+madness".

Showcased is a selection from the Autumn Winter 2012 range, which is inspired by nature, growth and attachment. Many pieces are embellished with hand made flowers, sequins and stones. The colour palette is very regal – gold, navy and cream. There are also some one-off pieces inspired by individual things, plus attire motivated by a recent trip to China.

Paul Vasileff burst onto the fashion scene with his elaborate, elegant and ethereal couture collections in 2007. Reminiscent of the early 1950s and evoking style icons such as Marie Antoinette and Audrey Hepburn, Paolo Sebastian inspires a new vision of timeless elegance. Imported silks, French lace and beaded embellishments typify a Paolo Sebastian gown.

A graduate from the world renowned Europeo Istituto di Design, Vasileff fuses established style staples with a contemporary edge that not only creates unique handmade garments, but also captivates those of truly romantic heart with his gossamer chiffon gowns, romantic silhouettes and intricate craftsmanship, stunning elements of the Paolo Sebastian 2012 Autumn/Winter Couture collection.

Also involved is Ignition for Men, one of Adelaide’s leading menswear stores which specialises in suits, casual wear from many of the top international and national labels. Suits are tailored made, using the best pure wool, wool/silk and cashmere fabrics, catering to the fashion forward male as well as those who need an outfit for that special occasion.
