South Australia’s first Move store opens its doors today at the Myer Centre Adelaide, allowing South Australians to experience the successful fashion and technology brand for the first time.
Move sells fashion-inspired electronics accessories, computers and mobile devices to consumers who want their technology with a twist of individuality and style. Backed by Dick Smith, it is the first of its kind in the Australian retail space.
The store opening will feature Move’s Living In Style campaign which shows Australians how to blend technology and fashion in the home. The campaign will be supported by stylish imagery to inspire customers, and will run across all stores until May.
Dick Smith Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Nick Abboud, said, “We’re thrilled to be bringing the Move brand to South Australia for the first time.

The Adelaide store showcases Move’s expansion, representing the brands’ ninth store nationwide and the first in South Australia, with stores already in Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland. Move has also recently launched its brand new online transactional website movestore.com.au where for the first time ever, consumers can now purchase Move’s unique fusion of fashionable technology products from anywhere around the country.
Move will celebrate its Adelaide store opening with some incredible one-off deals for consumers from the 30th of March through to the 12th of April. An event at the new Move store on the Ground Level at the Myer Centre Adelaide will also be held on Friday 10th of April from 4-8pm for locals.
