Feast Festival, Adelaide’s annual LGBTIQ Arts and Cultural Festival, is calling for Stallholder Expressions of Interest to help celebrate 21 years of art, culture, and community at their Opening Night Party and Picnic in the Park events. Applications for Expressions of Interest close on Thursday 31 August, so get in quick to be involved in their birthday celebrations.
On the Saturday 11 November, the Opening Night Party will celebrate the commencement of the Festival with music and dance at Hyde Street. Picnic in the Park is a community event at Pinky Flat on Sunday 26 November to conclude the Festival, including stalls, food, and entertainment for the whole family.
Both events attract over 2,000 patrons each year including local, interstate, and even international audiences. These are highly visible events that attract great media attention and high exposure of your business or community event. Past stallholders have included food and coffee, crafts and jewellery, businesses, and community organisations.
“Feast Festival has always promoted pride, community identity, and inclusion. As we are returning to our community roots this year, it would be fantastic to have a great variety of stallholders to showcase the SA’s LGBTIQ community’s and allies’ amazing and wonderful talent,” said General Manager, Helen Sheldon.
Each year, the team at Feast ensures everyone gets the most out of celebrating through a diverse mix of arts and culture, including visual arts, theatre, dance, comedy, and community events and workshops. The promotion and presentation of a range of stallholders is a crucial aspect of programming, and Feast is calling upon an array of individuals and businesses interested in being a part of this year’s Festival.
