Sick of toasted sandwiches, random freezer items, or eggs three ways (or is that just our isolation diet right now)? Well, if you’re looking for something a little heartier and perhaps tastier, check out iconic Adelaide restaurant, Lenzerheide.
For over 30 years, Lenzerheide has been serving up a sumptuous menu at their restored historical residence in Hawthorn, which is why we’re excited to see them joining the ever-growing list of restaurants providing takeaway options during these crazy times.
This week, the crew are offering up their soup and bread offer, which is perfect timing as the weather turns a little bleaker.
For $25, you can get one litre of their potato and leek soup made with Barossa smoked bacon, rich cream, and chicken stock, along with a loaf of their artisan potato and rosemary sourdough – that’s enough to feed four and give everyone that warm and fuzzy comfort food feeling.
Soup is on every day between 10am and 4pm at 146 Belair Road, Hawthorn and is available for pick up from their reception. They can also deliver to your car.
Our advice is to pre-order as you would hate to miss out, so definitely order ahead via 8373 3711.
