Over the past thirteen years, FINO Seppeltsfield has become a Barossa landmark with international renown and numerous accolades.

It’s thereby very exciting to hear that restaurant owners and founders, Sharon Romeo and David Swain are taking a journey back to their roots by opening a wine bar in the CBD called Fino Vino.

Whilst there’s minimal information out there, we know that Fino Vino is set to be a 70 seater wine bar on Flinders Street, opening in November. Given the reputation of Fino Seppeltsfield, the anticipation for this venture is extremely high.

Fino began as a quaint restaurant in Willunga thirteen years ago, serving honest regional and seasonal cuisine by head chef, at the time, David.

From there, a personal invite from Seppeltsfield proprietor and managing director, Warren Randall, brought them to the burgeoning village of Seppeltsfield winery as the destination restaurant in the region.

Now, with Sam Smith at the helm of dining and with Sharon and David running the restaurant in every other aspect, FINO draws crowds from all around the world with visitors who know that they’re getting good food.

They’re both a quintessential regional restaurant and an internationally famed destination.

With such an impressive reputation, the CBD wine bar will likely replicate these aspects that have become synonymous with the brand as it further expands.

Before Fino Vino’s opening, head to their Seppeltsfield restaurant to taste their exemplary regional fare.

FINO Seppeltsfield can be found at 730 Seppeltsfield Rd, Seppeltsfield SA 5355.

Fino Vino is set to open at 82 Flinders Street, Adelaide 5000.

Stay tuned for upcoming information.
