A new restaurant has opened on Henley Beach Road, bringing a fusion of flavours to Mile End.
Fire Flame Kitchen is the latest addition to Adelaide’s western suburbs’ vibrant dining scene, offering a unique combination of Italian and Asian cuisine with wood-fired pizzas and curries.
“At Fire Flame Kitchen, we’re serving wood-fired pizzas and wood-fired curries,” shared the owner. “I think it’s a very new concept—I don’t know of anyone else doing wood-fired curries.”
On the menu, you’ll find a range of pizza and curry dishes.
“We have a limited menu of five or six pizzas and curries. All of them are amazing. As for me, I’m a vegetarian, so the veggie pizza is my favourite, but the prosciutto and Margherita are very good as well.
“We have a butter chicken, a fire flame chicken—which is our special—and Thai barramundi curries, all cooked on the wood fire. As for pizzas, we offer more authentic Italian-style options as well as some with an Asian twist. The meat lovers, prosciutto, and Margherita are more traditional, whereas the tandoori chicken pizza, paneer pizza, and vegetarian pizza feature more Asian-inspired flavours.”

The owner, who has five years of experience in the hospitality industry, also has ties to Jimmies Restaurant in Crafers, a venue consistently ranked among the top five pizza spots in the Adelaide Hills.
“We are also involved with a fine dining venue, Jimmies Restaurant in Crafers. In 2024, we received an award from the council for Adelaide Hills’ best pizza.”
