If you’re heading to Winter Reds, you’re in for a wine-fueled weekend of fun, so why not make it even better with one or both of Anderson Hill’s exciting events?

The much-loved Adelaide Hills winery, which recently won the title for the world’s best shiraz, is hosting two events on Saturday and Sunday, July 24 and 25, with a lot more than just their award-winning red wine on offer. Both the daytime and nighttime events focus on open fire cooking, dancing, and of course wine.

During the day, Anderson Hill is hosting “Meat, Bread, and Great Red” with meat and vegetables cooked over open fires and eaten with artisan breads, so your Winter Reds lunch or afternoon snack is sorted. Rug up and take in the breathtaking views, roaring fires and multi-award winning, cool climate wines. There are also back vintage wine tasting sessions available that guests can book upon arrival. This event is not ticketed.

At night, they’re hosting a “Red Rock’n Roast” with more fire-roasted meats and vegetables, a dance floor, and live music from The Ambush. To this ticketed event, guests are encouraged to get their rocking dance moves ready and wear red to really keep with the weekend’s theme.

The two fire-cooking events are perfect to warm your winter weekend.

“Our Saturday and Sunday sessions are all about focusing on open fire cooking and juxtaposing heat with the cold winter air – proper winter magic,” the winery says.

To enjoy Anderson Hills’ Adelaide hills views, world’s best shiraz, and more, make sure to book ahead.
