Maison de Moon Art Class Experience – Clarendon

Get ready to step into a slice of French paradise in Clarendon! Maison de Moon is hosting an indulgent High Tea experience in the warm and inviting ambiance of our French country-style home.

It’s set in a charming French Provincial style farmhouse nestled on a sprawling 13-acre property surrounded by magnificent European trees, a breathtaking rose garden and even a picturesque little lake that adds to the allure of this French oasis.

While sipping on your cup of tea, you’ll have the opportunity to unleash your inner artist in an art class led by the talented local Clarendon artist, Di Lamont. Di’s expertise in Acrylic painting has taken her across SA, NSW, and even California. In fact, she’s been recognized as one of nine Teacher Support Artists in Australia by Chroma Australia.

You can also follow the Clarendon heritage trail to uncover the intriguing history of this quaint village, reminiscent of an enchanting English-style town.

Fleurieu Food Festival – various locations

Get ready to tantalize your taste buds and embark on a culinary adventure like no other. The Fleurieu Food Festival will treat your senses throughout the entire month of August. This mouthwatering event is a celebration of the incredible food and beverage producers, as well as the food businesses that call the Fleurieu Peninsula home.

Thanks to the amazing folks at the Board of Fleurieu Peninsula Food, the festival promises to showcase the diverse range of flavors and experiences that the region has to offer. Get ready for a month filled with fine dining experiences set amidst picturesque vineyards or olive groves. You can also go on foraging expeditions, farm tours, and attend captivating cooking classes. The full program will be released shortly.

For an extra special treat, head to the Willunga Farmer’s Market, a multi-award-winning gem, where you can attend special presentations and mingle with the farmers who provide you with their incredible produce all year round.

Winter Fire Festival at Tintara – McLaren Vale  

Get ready for the ultimate winter celebration at Tintara’s Winter Fire Festival. Gather your crew and indulge in delicious food, live music, art exhibitions, and so much more. Keep warm by the fire pits in the courtyard and enjoy the cozy atmosphere under the Bedouin style marquee.

Indulge in homemade soup, warm mulled wine, wine & beer bar, hot chocolate and more.

Hosted by Hardys Tintara and the Fleurieu Arthouse, this event at the stunning Tintara Property is going to be one to mark in your calendars.

Moon Garden Project at Harvest Studio – McLaren Vale

The Moon Garden Project invites locals and visitors to wander a pathway through the historic State Heritage Botanical Cemetery in McLaren Vale. The project includes botanical installation art framing the thresholds of a cultural community garden enhanced by bespoke winter lighting.

The picturesque township of McLaren Vale is the gateway to arguably South Australia’s favourite and most accessible wine region hosting more than 80 cellar doors, breweries, distilleries and dining sensations. The township is a popular spot, offering visitors an eclectic mix of local businesses, art galleries, day spa, homewares and many retail boutiques.
