Chasing away the winter blues is completely possible. All you need to do is change the colour to ‘red’, and in turn, make the most of the wine-filled events taking place in the Adelaide Hills. Winter Reds is here to fire up you winter soul with gorgeous food and wine. And just when you thought the festivities couldn’t get any better, we’ve just been given wind of Mitolo‘s Winter Reds Dinner and felt more than obliged to pass it on.
Mitolo Winter Reds 5 Course Degustation is a dining experience like no other. This 5 course culinary dining experience has been curated by Bocca di Lupo’s head chef Tom Jack for a ‘one night only’ menu.
Head chef Tom Jack’s style is a complex fusion of modern Australian, subtle Asian combined with contemporary Italian.
Designed to complement Mitolo’s most desirable red wines as selected by Sommelier Patrick White, including a tasting of Mitolo’s super premium 14 ‘Marsican’ Shiraz, you can expect nothing less than class and sophistication.
With a wine focused menu in which each dish is based around the food, Mitolo are doing no wrong. Matching wines will be priced separately, so guests are able to just purchase per bottle, with recommended back vintages also available.
We have been given a sneak peak into the menu and let us tell you, this degustation will not disappoint. Think: beef rib, lotus root and floss paired with ’14 Marsican Mitolo as one of the courses. Delectable blends, masterfully crafted to ensure cohesion and harmony. We won’t spoil the dessert, but rest assured, it sounds like perfection.
All that’s left to do now is grab your friends and make your booking. Bookings can be made from 6pm via this link. Warm up your winter soul, throw away your winter blues and embrace the winter reds this year at Mitolo.
