Have you been wanting to explore the Barossa and some of the fantastic venues that call it home? Look no further than the first-ever Barossa Wine-a-Thon, coming to the region in March. And don’t worry, there’s no running involved!

On Saturday, March 15th, 2025, five fantastic Barossa venues will join forces for a day of local wine, gin, food, and entertainment.

Kicking off at 11am, guests will travel by minibus to five venues—Paulmara Estate, Rolf Binder, Laughing Jack Wines, Two Hands Wines, and Seppeltsfield Road Distillers—along Seppeltsfield Road. Entertainment, 3 glasses of wine tastings per person at every venue and 5 food courses will be served throughout the day. The ticket also includes a keepsake reusable wine cup and event sunglasses.

Paulmara Estate, located at 144 Seppeltsfield Rd, is a family-run winery established in 1999. Their wines celebrate the family’s Californian heritage and Greek roots. Paulmara Estate gets its grapes from Georgiadis Estates Vineyard situated in Marananga on the golden mile of the Barossa Valley, and Paradigm Vineyard in the renowned Western Ridge of the Barossa Valley.

Rolf Binder Wines was established all the way back in 1955 by Rolf Heinrich Binder and his wife, Franziska. With the philosophy of only using primarily estate-grown fruit from their own vineyards across the Barossa, Rolf Binder Wines have continued to make their wines with fruit that is sourced primarily from the Binder Family estate vineyards which cover 250 acres throughout the Barossa and Eden Valleys. They can be found at 185 Stelzer Rd.

Laughing Jack Wines is a family-owned and operated winery and was established in 1999. Laughing Jack’s vineyards are surrounded by majestic Blue and Red Gum trees which native Kookaburra birds like to call home. These birds are often nicknamed ‘Laughing Jack’, which is where the winery’s name originated. Laughing Jack Wines is located at 194 Stonewell Rd.

Two Hands Wines was first conceptualised in 1999 with a focus on highlighting the diversity of Australian Shiraz. After their first vintage in 2000, Two Hands Wines has gone on to produce world-class wines and export them all over the globe. Find Two Hands Wines at 273 Neldner Rd.

Finally, Seppeltsfield Road Distillers are the new kids on the block, officially opening their distillery in 2018. Seppeltsfield Road Distillers has become a must-visit destination for gin lovers in the Barossa, and has been recognised as one of South Australia’s most awarded gin distilleries; as well as achieving success on the global stage. You can find SRD along the iconic palm-lined Seppeltsfield Rd.

So if you’ve been keen to get out and try some of the amazing wines there’s no better opportunity to get a group together, grab your partner or head on down solo to explore this world-class wine region.
