The state government, in partnership with Adelaide City Council have granted a funding of $3 million to develop this modern facility.
A first-look at concept designs have been released for the city skate park.
Obstacles in the park have been used as influence to pay homage to the old facility that was demolished in 2013, replicated with a new modernised twist.
Located on the corner of West Terrace and Glover Avenue, adjacent to Adelaide High School, City Skate Park will be an activated community hub offering recreational and social experiences for youth and families.
Works are anticipated to commence by the end of 2020 and completed by mid-2021. Detailed designs will be released on the council website, keep an eye out here.
