In July of last year, the refurbishment of Appellation Restaurant began.

The dining institution’s new space has now been unveiled, and the renovation is significant.

“Appellation has spent the last 15 years honing our reputation as a world class regional dining destination,” says General Manager of Appellation and The Louise, Kylie Mansfield.

Mansfield goes on to explain the key to Appellation’s success has been a genuine desire for excellence balanced with a respect for tradition and a hunger for innovation.

This is embodied, says Mansfield, by the “beautifully-curated” dining room.

“[It’s] a space that elevates every guest’s culinary experience well beyond that spectacular Barossa horizon,” she finishes.

Appellation’s culinary team is led by Executive Chef, Daniel Murphy, Beverage Director, Geoffrey Hunt, and Culinary Service Director, Mel Hamilton.

The three have put together a regionally inspired offering that is motivated by Barossa culture, guided by the seasons, and looks to the future.

Appellation offers a five-course set menu for evening dining Wednesday through Sunday.

Bookings are advised and can be made online.

You can find Appellation at Seppeltsfield Rd &, Stonewell Rd, Marananga.
