There’s no denying Adelaide’s burning obsession with frozen yoghurt, and it only seems to keep growing. Now, a colourful new spot for frozen treats is following the trend and opening in Old Reynella.
After a few weeks of soft launch, Yojie Frozen Yoghurt & Gelato is set to officially open on Saturday 18 October, and it’s opening with a bang. Starting from 11:30am, Yojie is giving away 100 free cups of frozen yoghurt or gelato to the first customers in store. I hope you’re hungry!

“Yojie is about fresh, flavourful, and custom-made treats that make people smile,” said Michelle Alexander, store manager. “Frozen yoghurt has always been a feel-good dessert, and we wanted to elevate it with premium ingredients and creamy gelato options too.”
Yojie offers self-serve frozen yoghurt, like you might already be used to. First, grab your cup and pour as much frozen yoghurt as your heart desires. Next, head to the toppings station, where Yojie is offering fresh fruit, chocolates, nuts, cookies, and sauces.

“What makes Yojie stand out is the variety and the freedom of choice,” Michelle said. “It’s all about freshness, quality, and fun presentation. No two bowls ever look the same!”
Or if you’d rather gelato, the store serves classic scoops in cup or cone.

Michelle said Old Reynella was a natural choice for the store. “Old Reynella has such a warm, family-oriented vibe. It instantly felt like home for Yojie,” Michelle said. “We wanted to bring something fresh, vibrant, and social to the area, a place where you can come together and enjoy a little treat after school, dinner, or a weekend outing.”
Proudly locally owned and operated, Michelle describes Yojie as a modern, welcoming space full of good vibes. “[The team has] worked in food and retail for years, and Yojie has been a dream project for us.”
So as Yojie opens its doors for the official grand opening, we hope you manage to get your free cup of frozen yoghurt!
