DoughBalls has arrived in the heart of Adelaide’s CBD, setting up shop on Level 1 of Rundle Place. Neighbouring Hijinx Hotel, Strike Bowling, and Archie Brothers Cirque Electriq, the new venue promises a vibrant atmosphere with an open kitchen and a well-stocked bar.
To celebrate, DoughBalls has launched a brand new menu featuring their famous DoughBalls, a variety of pizzas including the popular Carbonara Pizza, and a tempting selection of desserts. They haven’t forgotten the little ones either, offering an extensive kids menu that’s sure to be a hit with families.
“This restaurant has been a long time coming, and we’re thrilled to be part of the exciting development in the CBD,” said DoughBalls co-owner Cat Spalding. “We want to shake things up with affordable dining that’s perfect for everyone.”
“Our first restaurant opened at the beginning of 2020 – right before COVID hit us and we locked down. We’ve been so grateful to have made it through that difficult time, thanks to the support of new and regular customers who have helped us get to the point where our small business has grown and we now have the opportunity to open a restaurant right in the heart of the Adelaide CBD.”
DoughBalls aims to be your go-to spot for any occasion. Whether you need a refuel during a shopping spree, a bite before or after a game, or a place to kick off a night out, they’ve got you covered. The restaurant prides itself on being welcoming to all ages, ensuring everyone has a great time.
“Our Rundle Place restaurant is perfect for a quick lunch, a leisurely lunch with drinks and pizzas, corporate events, or just a fun night out,” Cat added.
Open for lunch, dinner, desserts, and cocktails, the kitchen operates all day until late. Walk-ins are welcome, but reservations are recommended to secure a table.
DoughBalls is also offering special deals like Bottomless Pizza and Drinks Packages. Additionally, a new brunch menu and the popular Bottomless Brunch are coming soon.
“This restaurant brings everything we love about our Glenelg restaurant to the CBD,” said Cat. “Same friendly service, same amazing food, same affordable prices, same delicious drinks, and a fantastic South Australian wine list. If you haven’t tried DoughBalls yet, come visit us!”
The new DoughBalls is a welcome addition to Rundle Place and is poised to become a favourite among Adelaide residents and visitors alike. With its prime location and extensive menu, it’s sure to attract a diverse clientele seeking quality food and a great atmosphere.
This new location adds to DoughBalls’ existing presence in Glenelg (their original venue), in McLaren Vale at Paxton Wines (weekends only) and their participation in various Adelaide events. They’re not stopping there though, with another DoughBalls set to open soon as part of the Fort Largs redevelopment.
From humble beginnings to multiple locations, owners Cat and Lincoln have created a concept that caters to families across South Australia. With affordable prices and a dedicated kids menu, DoughBalls offers a fantastic dining experience for all ages.
