Whether you wish to relax in their chic, glass-enclosed lounge space, or soak up the alfresco atmosphere with a meal and a hearty conversation, this vibrant bar is Adelaide’s newest hotspot for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
As a feature of the recently-opened Marriott Hotel on King William Street, Exchange Lane Bar offers its customers a unique variety of experiences: the café serves up barista made coffee in the morning, dine-in or take-away meals for lunch, before transforming into an inviting, trendy wine bar for cocktails, knock-offs, and shared plates in the evening.
Exchange Lane Bar joins the Penny Blue restaurant at the Marriott, lead by new executive chef, Alexandre Katsman, a South Australian native with 20 years of experience in dining management and menu design across SA and Tasmania.
Their a la carte breakfast menu features buttermilk pancake stacks, acai bowls, eggs on toast, and a selection of salads for that healthy kick-start to your morning. Moving onto lunch, Katsman’s team of chefs offer a range of focaccia sandwiches, bowls, and light snacks, catering for vegans and vegetarians.
Finally, diners stepping into Exchange Lane Bar in the evening can choose from a diverse array of sharing plates, snacks, main courses, and desserts. Dinner highlights include the wagyu sirloin katsu with chimichurri and fries, as well as the wild mushroom gnocchi with pesto and caramelised walnut.
Exchange Lane will cater to all types of diners in an 88-seat setting that transforms from a vibrant coffee spot by day to a relaxed drink destination by night. This space offers a versatile, all-day dining menu designed to connect with both locals and visitors, offering an ideal bar experience for anyone working in or passing through the city.
