Joining the likes of other fan favourite cafes and lunch spots, Hey Darling has opened up on Pirie Street this week.
The boutique coffee shop opened with a bang, filling with bustling office workers stopping to meet friends or grabbing a quick coffee fix during the work day.
The co-owners of the venue, Jess and Antony, are fresh on the hospitality scene with this being the first venue for Jess and the second venue for Antony.
Antony is also responsible for the popular Double Barrel Espresso Bar on Flinders Street in the Santos Building.
Hey Darling also offers an epic range of coffee sizes.
Whilst you can still get the classic, small medium and large, there is one size likely to cure your Monday blues and help out with any impending deadline. Aptly named the Big Mama, it has an astounding four shots of espresso.
The venue has partnered with coffee roasters, Willow Blend and is looking to install a stunning copper coffee roaster into the coffee shop.
All of the gorgeous coffee cups are part of the BioCup Art Series, which supports local Australian and New Zealand artists. New designs are printed every 3 months, so you can expect something different every time you order.
Of course, customers are still encouraged to bring in a reusable coffee cup.
Hey Darling offers diners a variety of freshly prepared grab and go food options such as focaccia, salads, croissants and baguettes.
If you prefer the liquid diet, feel free to try their delicious sounding fresh juices and smoothies or stay classic and grab your favourite coffee.
Definitely a place to check out if you are in the area, or just desperately need to try the Big Mama.
You can find them at 63 Pirie St, Adelaide 5000, every Monday to Friday from 7am-4pm.
