First look: Holey Moley’s new bar, arcade & function space

The popular putt putt course is expanding their Adelaide venue to include another storey with a new bar, restaurant, function space, and arcade.

Time to kick some serious putt and reach for the pars!

Holey Moley Adelaide has really upped their game, and we’re not just talking about golf.

The popular putt putt course has expanded their Adelaide venue to include another storey with a new bar, restaurant, function space, and arcade. The revamped space opens to the public on Thursday, 29 July with heaps of retro games and private video game booths teed up.

Want to play a few rounds on Golden Tee, stroll down Evergreen Terrace on Simpsons Arcade or catch fire with NBA Jam? With over 20 different retro arcade classics from the 80s, 90s and beyond, there’s a host of classic arcade games to choose from. If you’re wanting more old-school classics, there’s also a host of retro video game booths bookable by the hour, so you can host a Mario Kart tournament or a Pokemon Stadium battle royale on a range of Nintendo 64s.

There’s also the latest Xbox Series X’s and PS5s in next-gen video game booths, so you can book by the hour and play the latest games either online or with your friends. With booths available for four to ten players, it’s all happening below Holey Moley Golf Club on Pulteney Street.

There’s also a whole new cocktail menu on offer, with a range of Instagram-worthy cocktails to sup while you putt. From the New Orleans Sour with Southern Comfort, Adelaide Hills Distillery 78 Gin, Passionfruit, Lemon and Egg White or the Rub a Dub Tub with Fireball, Triple Sec, Red Bull, Passionfruit, Cranberry and Lime, Holey Moley is just as serious about their bars as well as their pars, so they’ve put their best caddies on the job for all your off-the-green needs. The food menu is promised to be tasty as well.

“Our menus have high quality, local produce dishes but with hilarious, fun editions like an over-the-top ice cream sandwich with fairy floss,” says Maleik Edwards, Holey Moley Adelaide’s brand manager.

“Everything is silly to tie in well with the Holey Moley feel, and it’s all easy to eat while you golf.”

There’s also expanded seating and function options available, with all-inclusive gaming, drink and golf packages for your next 18th, 80th or corporate event.
