FIRST LOOK: Introducing the CBD’s new cocktail bar – The Refreshment Club

Sitting high above Rundle Street on top of Two Pot Screamer, this new cocktail bar is bringing a new vibe to the East End.

Overlooking the bustling East End of Rundle Street, a new cocktail bar is preparing to become the CBD’s must-go venue this summer.

Situated above Two Pot Screamer, with balcony views over Rundle Street, an eclectic drinks list and nostalgic snacks all night, The Refreshment Club is the latest addition to the East End.

“We are bringing a totally new experience to the East End and Rundle Street. Focusing on sexy and sleek cocktails, with a wine list to match for knockoffs, all the way through to late-night disco dancing. No need to travel west for cocktails and dancing anymore.” explains Penny Hospitalities director Hugo Pedler.

The Refreshment Club is your new late-night fling; dark, sexy and moody. Retro colours, sharp shapes and vintage-style furniture give it a 70s feel but with a modern twist. Sunken leather booths line the inside walls with pink-speckled marble featured throughout but it’s the outdoor deck that is the real drawcard.

Good luck staying in your seats as the almost wedding-like disco grooves play through the night, with an unofficial dancefloor becoming the meeting spot under the disco ball. The perfect spot for larger bookings, Hen’s days and all the rest, the venue is open late until 2am.

The Refreshment Club takes both bookings and walk-ins but if you want the best seat in the house it’s best to book to avoid disappointment. And don’t fall into thinking it’s a weekend-only haunt, The Refreshment Club is also perfect for after-work knockoffs on any day of the week with $8 pints and $8 sparkling available Wednesday to Friday between 4pm and 6pm.

The Refreshment Club is located at 285 Rundle Street, Adelaide.
