South Australia’s wine country has an exciting new offering in Langhorne Creek, as Little Pete Brewing unveils a one-of-a-kind open-air bar.
Nestled on 20 acres of stunning landscapes, blending craft beer, community, and natural beauty, this is the ultimate new destination for a drink with a view.
After three years of crafting brews, Little Pete Brewing’s latest venture offers a casual atmosphere, where guests can savour Little Pete Brewing’s signature craft beers while enjoying the stunning natural backdrop. This unique venue offers yet another reason to visit the gorgeous Langhorne Creek.
“We always felt this property has a special energy,” shared co-founder Warren Burgess.
Little Pete Brewing was founded by Warren and Beck Burgess in 2021. Since then, they have been committed to connecting people through their brewing and their paddock-to-plate philosophy— or, in this case, grain-to-glass.
“We launched the Little Pete Brewing brand just three years ago, and we’ve been selling directly to consumers while supplying select venues and bottle shops across Adelaide, Fleurieu, and the Adelaide Hills.”
“When we purchased this property 18 months ago, we knew it was the perfect place to build the open-air bar and, soon, the construction of a new brewhouse.
“It’s a dream come true that after three years, we’re welcoming visitors and consumers to us”.
Warren is an agronomist with a passion for the science behind brewing, and Beck is a consultant who supports local farmers and organises large-scale agriculture conferences. Together they know how to “brew” up a winning partnership.
“The open-air bar and property embodies everything we envision for Little Pete Brewing—a place where community, quality craft beer, and the beauty of Langhorne Creek come together,” Beck shared.
“We want our customers to feel at home, just like visiting a friend for a catch-up, but with a sneaky beer in hand.
“Come for a beer on the lawns, where you can kick back under the umbrellas and enjoy a laid-back, unpretentious atmosphere—just good drinks and great company in a unique setting.
“Bring your kids and your dog (on-leash) and make a day of it,” Beck said.
At the bar, you will be able to try and purchase seven of Little Pete Brewing’s signature beers. Local wines will also be on offer. For the foodies, there will be an option to “build your own platters” with local produce from all across the Fleurieu region.
The opening coincides with the launch of Little Pete Brewing’s flagship beer, “SA Draught,” which celebrates South Australia’s rich brewing heritage. It’s an Australian lager that’s sure to please everyone, including non-craft beer drinkers.
