In the heart of Stepney, popular franchise One Sneaky Cheetah has opened its biggest venue yet inside a former printing warehouse. It’s got a a full bar with beer on tap, an extended drinks menu, more seating, a functions space and more. The franchise has rapidly expanded its footprint since it started in 2022, with this being its most exciting venture yet.

Marc, General Manager at One Sneaky Cheetah, shares his excitement with Glam Adelaide about the expansion, “this is our third location in two years which is super exciting and is no doubt based on the support we’ve had from the community. This new location is a great set-up and in a prime location near the new Norwood Green complex and East End Cellars Norwood.”

The distinguishing factor that sets One Sneaky Cheetah apart is its delicious woodfired pizzas that are a nice mix between the Neapolitan style of sibling restaurant Pizzateca and classic Aussie take-away pizzas which you’ve had on your radar since you were young.

“Pizza is what we do and we do it well, everyone always loves it. One big winner for us is our diablo chilli honey which goes on so many of our pizzas including our popular salami one which people absolutely love. In fact, we have so many requests to buy the honey that we’ll hopefully have it in production soon,” Marc says.

But it’s not just about the pizzas; it’s about the locally sourced ingredients and the unique flavours that make One Sneaky Cheetah so popular.

“We love to use local produce from South Australia. For example, We get our Roma tomatoes fresh, then we boil them, crush them, and make our sauce with them; our sauce is a major reason why people love us. You can taste the difference,” Marc says.

The Stepney location brings an exciting new dimension to the One Sneaky Cheetah experience. It’s not just a restaurant; it’s a space for experimentation.

“People know and love our menu, but this space will act as a test site for new items, different flavoured pizzas, potentially canapés and more. We want to play around with different options and produce seasonal specials like ‘pizza of the month’,” Marc says.

As you step into the Stepney location, you’ll immediately notice the striking warehouse-style ambiance, similar to their first location but much, much, bigger. It’s a space that exudes character and has an edgy, distinctive vibe with yellow, black and white branding plastered throughout.

“The space was just so awesome. It has everything we wanted including a stunning deck area, nice booths, a bar, function area and more. The function area which will be launching early next year will cater to everything from kids birthday parties to 60ths,” Marc explains.

The function space which is aptly named “The Cheetah Den” has its own bar, an amazing lighting set-up and also its own audio system.

Moreover, the Stepney venue houses a bar that offers a range of tap beers, including their own One Sneaky Cheetah Pale Ale and Lager, alongside other delicious options.

“The drinks menu has definitely been beefed up at this location, Adelaide is known to have so many good wine and spirit options which we’ve wanted to add. We also have a new Spritz menu [with options like Aperol Spritz, Campari Spritz, Limoncello Spritz, Passionfruit Spritz, and Pink Gin Spritz],” Marc says.

“Everything still has that classic European flavour still flowing through, but also a local twist,” Marc says.

Aside from the drinks, the food menu includes delicious options like a Margherita with fresh mozzarella, parmigiano and basil, a Shroom option with fresh mozzarella, mushrooms, minced garlic, parmigiano, basil, truffle olive oil and cracked black pepper, and smoky BBQ chicken which has BBQ sauce made from scratch, fresh mozzarella, roasted chicken, roasted red capsicum and red onion.

“Funny enough, while everyone loves our pizzas, our most popular menu item is called “cheetah tails” – which is like a garlic bread made with woodfired pizza dough, garlic-herb butter and parmesan. People always seem to come back just for that,” Marc says.
