Can you smell that delicious aroma? It’s the fragrant scents of Asia wafting through the air… is that bao buns? Dumplings? Maybe both? It must be coming from the Lucky Dumpling Market! Back for its eighth year, the popular event has just kicked off in Elder Park and will run from today, Thursday October 24th to Sunday November 10th.
The Adelaide riverbank is about to come alive with people flocking to enjoy delicious food and drinks, alongside fantastic entertainment – all with free entry! Over the next two and a half weeks, there will be an incredible lineup of more than 20 vendors to explore, including nine newcomers, serving up a range of Asian cuisines, from Japanese and Chinese to South-East Asian and Vietnamese. The mouthwatering selection of dishes includes noodles, bao buns, salads, curries, desserts, drinks and, of course, dumplings!
In partnership with OzAsia Festival, the Lucky Dumpling Market caters to the growing demand for diverse food options so that there’s something for everyone, including meat-lovers, vegans, and vegetarians. Last year, around 140,000 hungry visitors flocked to the market and organisers are optimistic to see those numbers soar even higher this year as we welcome the warmer weather.
