Tome to open the doors, with a brand-new bookstore in the Adelaide CBD’s Myer Centre.
If you’re lookin’ to get bookin’, Page & Turner Adelaide have taken the next step to elevate the online pre-loved bookstore business to a brick-and-mortar locale in the heart of the city.
Until now, Page & Turner have been based in Adelaide, South Australia since 2020 and selling their new and used stock across the nation through Australia Post.
The store offers the service and care of its knowledgeable staff, along with a shared intrinsic passion for literature that will bring a new experience to those picking up prose in Rundle.
Page & Turner Adelaide will also be the place to come for artwork, design objects and quirky gifts, along with DVDs and CDs.
Although Dymocks and QBD have serviced the city well, letting people get lit literature to take home; the unique love and care that goes into the sole P&T store, along with the niche selection of rare hardcover and hard-to-find books… Well, it’s something else.
The bookstore, photography and costume studio launch on level 2 of the Myer Centre kicked off from 5pm on February 10, 2023, courtesy of Adelaide Creative Studio and Renew Adelaide.
The subtitle to Page & Turner Adelaide’s banner, ‘where good books live,’ is a lot to live up to, given the plethora of extraordinary places to sit and indulge in a good book across SA.
With plenty of historic and specialist stores, such as O’Connell’s Bookshop by the train station, Page & Turner Adelaide adds to the rich cultural tapestry of our collective imagination. In fact, they even have a book rescue in case you’re looking to lighten your shelves and pack those of another.
Make sure to check out the link and check out the store.
Let’s be real, we could all do with a good book every now and then. Turn over a few pages at Page & Turner Adelaide.
