Andrew Mazzone Design Jewellers has been creating beautiful, one-of-a-kind jewellery since 1960, but after nearly 40 years at its Pulteney Street Studio, the time has come to flourish in a bigger, better, and brighter home.
Last week, Andrew Mazzone Design Jewellers moved into their sparkling new, spacious studio on Grenfell Street, just in time to celebrate 63 years in the business. Celebrating such a milestone in the new-look studio was a dream come true for director and manufacturing jeweller, Andrew Mazzone, who took over the business from his father in 1986.
Since then, Andrew has spent time specialising in his craft, focusing on bespoke, hand-crafted engagement and wedding rings with his name now synonymous with diamonds thanks to repeat customers and continuous referrals.
“My father Quinto Mazzone opened our first store in 1960, then in 1984 we moved into the Pulteney Street studio. Over the years we have created so many pieces of jewellery to mark special occasions from birthdays to christenings, weddings, engagements and remodelling special family heirlooms,” he reflects.
“The focus of our new studio is diamond engagement and wedding rings, and fine jewellery. We wanted to create a space that was elegant and welcoming, where couples can come to design their dream ring or special piece and be guided throughout the whole process”.
Walking through the large glass doors that lead into the new Andrew Mazzone Design Jewellers studio, you are instantly awash with elegance. The chic, light-filled space situated in Adelaide’s vibrant East End has an air of sophistication reminiscent of the hand-crafted pieces produced within its walls.
“The new studio has been custom-built to offer a luxurious customer experience with multiple seated areas for personalised jewellery consultations,” Andrew explains.
“We have also created an exclusive Diamond Room for private customer appointments. It’s in here that you can view your preferred diamond size and shape in your own time.”
