With The Nail Bar Beauty & Co. opening a new store in the heart of Rundle Mall, it won’t take much to twist my arm and convince me to book a pamper session. But if, unlike me, you need more convincing, this new salon is taking it up a notch, bringing a brand-new head spa service to Rundle Mall Plaza.
“The Nail Bar Beauty & Co. have wanted to introduce a head spa for years because it is such a beautiful way to help people feel relaxed and pampered. I also think it is a wonderful experience for both locals and visitors. When I travel, I often look for treatments like this myself, and I’ve found they can be surprisingly hard to book, so I knew there was a real demand for it,” says company director Saland Nguyen.
Smack bang in the heart of Rundle Mall, Saland thought there was untapped potential for a space in the city where locals and visitors could step away from the hustle and bustle. Whether you need a bit of a refresh after a gruelling work week or, like me, need to take the edge off after a gruelling trip (cough, cough, shopping spree) up and down the mall, arms heavy (from shopping bags) feet exhausted (from the stairs in Myer and David Jones), then Saland suggests you pay her a visit.
“We wanted to create a space that adds to the experience of being in the city — somewhere people can step away from the rush, slow down, and enjoy a moment for themselves.”
The team behind this new project are entering this era with confidence. With six salons scattered throughout SA, they’ve built a strong understanding of who they are and what sets them apart from other salons.
“We focus on quality rather than competing on price. We want every client to have the same beautiful experience every time they visit us, no matter which location they go to.”
Saland didn’t even need to tell us this for it to be clear. This 3D render of the salon’s plans paints a vivid picture of their commitment to comfort and quality.
“I think clients will love how the space makes them feel. Beyond the services themselves, we have put a lot of care into creating an atmosphere that feels clean, calming, and relaxing,” Nguyen explains.
