This stand-out venture, founded by brothers Shane and Danny Gramazio, represents a groundbreaking achievement in the world of premium meats, offering a wide array of gluten-free products that don’t compromise on taste.

Gramazio Foods began with a vision to provide gluten-free options that deliver an uncompromised experience. The brothers grew up in their parent’s butcher, before heading out on their own to open their first butcher shop.
“During covid we decided to change directions. Often there’s certain connotations around butchers, but we wanted to be so much more,” Danny told Glam Adelaide.
The pair started off selling gluten-free schnitzels and noticed the coeliac community become really appreciative for the offering. “We’d been in business for over 14 years and we’d never seen customers so excited about what we were doing,” he says.

Slowly the butcher transitioned to being totally gluten-free, meaning there’s no room for human error and coeliacs can breathe easy when purchasing our products. “It took us over a year to get this coeliac certification,” Danny emphasised.
Their meticulous approach and dedication to excellence have resulted in a product range that’s not only 100% gluten-free but also irresistibly delicious.
“We’ve spent so much time researching and developing our range of flavours, all our products taste just the same, if not better than their gluten counterparts” Danny emphasised.

The extensive range includes their mouth-watering gluten-free schnitzels which have been trademarked and come with exclusive flavour combinations you won’t find anywhere else; imagine peri peri, southern style, herb and garlic, and more.
There’s over 75 products available, with tender cuts of grass-fed beef and stirfrys among the popular offerings. Each product has undergone rigorous lab testing, and ingredients are sourced from top-quality suppliers across Australia. Shane noted, “We pull different ingredients from around the country, resulting in unique flavours.”

“We even sent our regular customers home during our testing phase with free samples and once they couldn’t tell which products did and didn’t contain gluten, we knew we were onto winning recipes. As we like to say; Gramazio Foods is without gluten and without compromise.”
The certification process, accredited by Coeliac Australia, was both lengthy and demanding. “We’ve been audited and tested, and our staff are fully trained,” Shane stated. “When you’re talking about people’s health, it should be this way. When customers see that stamp, they can buy with confidence,” Shane says.
The response from the coeliac and gluten-free community has been overwhelmingly positive, making every effort invested worthwhile. “People are being diagnosed with a lot more now, so they want to see what’s in our products, which they can do with ease on our allergen and nutrition page on our website,” Danny added.

Looking ahead, the Gramazio brothers have ambitious plans to expand their unique concept to more locations across South Australia and beyond. Their pioneering approach to gluten-free butchery, coupled with the passionate support of their community, has set them on an exciting trajectory.
“The journey to get here hasn’t been easy, but it’s been so worth it. We have plans to expand in the future with not only more locations across South Australia but hopefully one day across the country. What we’re doing is unique, and from the response we’re already getting from the community, it shows there’s a strong interest in what we’re doing here,” Danny says.
“We wanted to create something we could be proud of and have our kids take over one day.”
