FIRST LOOK: SA’s first Milky Lane brings late-night dessert, burgers and cocktails to CBD

Milky Lane has arrived in Adelaide’s Rundle Street with colossal burgers, flavour-popping cocktails and indulgent desserts.

Rundle Street is about to get a shake up as new cult venue Milky Lane, which is popular interstate, officially opens its doors next Monday the 6th of November.

It’s a far cry from the boujee wine and tapas bars which hoard the East End – instead picture colossal burgers, flavour-popping cocktails and indulgent desserts.

The highly anticipated venue had its grand opening event last night, where VIP guests were treated to a mind blowing party with DJ beats plus food from the all-star kitchen including signature burgers, sides, cocktails, and world-famous specials.

Milky Lane Founder, Christian Avant, says the opening party gave Adelaide its first real look at how the venue will change Rundle Street.

“Having Milky Lane in such an iconic location is going to be so valuable to those wanting a late-night cocktail or cheeky feed, with our venue staying open until 2am on weekends,” says Christian.

Milky Lane’s first South Australian store comes after grand openings in Cairns and Bendigo earlier this year, as well as an established reputation in Sydney, Perth, Brisbane, and the Gold Coast.

Rundle Street will have a new unique dining experience with Milky Lane, standing out with its urban-inspired ambience.

The two-level open space is filled with murals of urban artists like 50 Cent, Jay Z, Biggie Smalls, Rihanna, and Kanye West along the walls. The grandeur of the interior matches the extravagance of the menu.

From their iconic ‘Milky Lane Burger’ to the mouth-watering ‘Chic-Kanye Burger,’ every bite is delicious and would definitely cure late-night munchies. The gastronomy doesn’t stop with just burgers though – Milky Lane’s vast range of sublime cocktails, featuring the popular ‘Bubble O’Bill’ and ‘Bueno Cocktail’ add to the promise of a fulfilling day or night out.

Milky Lane features two bars and is licensed to 2am, so the new Adelaide location is set to welcome everyone, from families to late night revellers.
