Forget the usual juice chain (you know what I’m saying), if you’re a fiend for healthy smoothies, this new smoothie and loaded tea bar is turning up the dial. Officially opening on Sunday, Sip City is Elizabeth Street’s newest addition, and it’s serving customisable, energy-loaded drinks tailored to your wants and needs.
Tucked behind warehouse gym Soul 365, Sip City is the third venue for owners Shaneal O’Bryan and her husband Charlie Noakes, who also run Elevate Nutrition in Mount Barker and Pop Nutrition in Murray Bridge.
The move into the CBD came after a chance introduction to Soul 365’s gym owners, who were looking for a brand that aligned with their space.
“We’ve been making a great impact in our current communities with our healthy smoothies and loaded energy teas, just giving people a healthy on-the-go fix,” Shaneal says.
“Before we knew it, we were opening a third location, doing the same thing, making an awesome impact,” she adds.
The menu leans into fun, nostalgic flavours as much as it does nutritional science. There’s loaded teas like the Barbie (watermelon and mango) or the Killer Python (yes, like the lolly), alongside Aero Choc Mint, Neapolitan Kit Kat and Biscoff smoothies.
There are protein coffees too, all geared towards giving you a full hit of protein, vitamins, minerals and gut-friendly ingredients in one stop. For the calorie counters and macro trackers, every detail of the smoothies is clearly listed.
Shaneal’s tip? “Grab a combo — a smoothie for breakfast or lunch, and then sip on a loaded tea throughout the day for gut health, natural energy, and overall wellbeing.”

The drinks are fully customisable, and the benefits cover everything from weight management and sports nutrition to gut health. Shaneal and Charlie are also happy to offer guidance along the way.
“Loaded teas are antioxidant teas that you can boost with things like collagen, creatine, fibre, probiotics, BCAAs,” she says. “We can really target all our drinks to somebody’s needs, whether that’s gut health or macro-based goals. We can help every type of person, which is really cool.”
The smoothie business became official three years ago, but unofficially operated as a passion project for much longer.
“I started when I was 15 years old, helping people as a distributor from home. I got amazing health results myself and wanted to expand that mission to help other people. Eventually, I was able to do it in the form of a smoothie bar,” says Shaneal.
And if you keep calling it Sin City, yep, that’s the inspiration. “We just thought it was really funny,” she adds.
To celebrate the launch, there are already plenty of deals to slurp up. “We’re doing a dollar off every purchase if somebody gives us a shoutout on social media,” she says.
“We also run weekly promos at our other locations, and we’ll bring them here too. Things like ‘Tradie Tuesday’ where tradies get $2 off, or ‘Thirsty Thursday’ where you can upgrade your drink size for cheap.”
With plans to open even more smoothie bars in the future, Sip City is just the beginning. “We definitely have a mission of opening more of these bars and making more of an impact with other people,” Shaneal adds.
Next time you’re in the mood for a refresher, swap out your Boost Juice for something a little more personal, and enjoy a healthy and delicious sip and slurp in the city.
