FIRST LOOK: Siam Seaside takes over Victor Harbor’s iconic old Masonic Lodge

Go on a culinary journey like no other at Siam Seaside, Victor Harbor’s newest Thai eatery, inspired by the nostalgic design of a train station and platform.

Forget your usual lunch plans and visit old Masonic Lodge for a unique culinary adventure to find Siam Seaside, a brand new Thai eatery with a unique twist.

The team behind Goolwa’s popular Thai Days restaurant is bringing their passion for authentic Thai cuisine to the coast. “We had a lot of our regulars from Goolwa asking for something closer to the beach,” says owner Ticsanun Jumpee. “Now we can offer another venue with much more room for dining in and staying for a drink into the evening.”

Step into the dining room, designed to evoke the nostalgia of a train station platform, and soak up the soothing seaside vibes. The menu is packed with classic Thai dishes like pad thai and green curry, all made with fresh ingredients and “prepared with love as if for their own family.” But don’t expect the ordinary – Ticsanun describes the food as “authentic Thai food – elevated, it’s a little bit more modern and fancy.”

And the experience doesn’t stop at the food. Siam Seaside boasts a fantastic cocktail bar where you can sip on signature creations like the Siam Full Moon or the Chilli Cha Cha. They also offer a selection of South Australian wines and non-alcoholic drinks. “We wanted to bring Thailand here with the interior decor,” Ticsanun explains. “Enjoy seaside views on one side of the room and lovely Thai art on the other.”

Whether you’re craving spicy curries, fresh salads, or fragrant stir-fries, Siam Seaside has something to tantalize your taste buds.

Takeaway and delivery options will be launched in the coming weeks, with an official opening due for mid-november.
