One of McLaren Vale’s most popular boutique wineries, Willunga 100, has unveiled The Grenache Room, a unique cellar door dedicated exclusively to showcasing the Grenache wines of the region. Located in Blewitt Springs, this new venue offers visitors the chance to explore the depth and complexity of Grenache grown in McLaren Vale’s terroir.
The Grenache Room is housed in the beautifully restored Moritz Family stone cottage, originally built in 1920, and situated within the Blind Spot Vineyard. With its historic charm and stunning surroundings, the intimate space is where visitors can explore Willunga 100’s award-winning Grenache wines. The setting reflects the winery’s dedication to tradition, sustainability, and innovation.
At The Grenache Room, guests can enjoy curated tasting flights from different vineyards across the region, including single-vineyard releases, limited editions, and exclusive wines only available at the tasting room. Some of the wines include the Trophy-winning Smart Vineyard Grenache, which was named Best Grenache at the Melbourne Royal Wine Awards, as well as the highly regarded Trott Vineyard Grenache and new Blind Spot Vineyard Grenache.
Guided by passionate and knowledgeable hosts, each tasting provides insight into Willunga 100’s sustainable winemaking and the unique terroir of McLaren Vale. Visitors will also learn the stories behind each wine, creating a deeper connection to the region’s history and winemaking traditions.

Since 2004, Willunga 100 has been creating Grenache wines that honour the region’s heritage and commitment to sustainability. The winery works closely with local growers to produce wines that reflect the distinct character of McLaren Vale’s top vineyard sites.
