Five Aussie Music Legends Set To Team Up For The Biggest Apia Good Times Tour Yet

The Apia Good Times Tour returns for its 6th consecutive year with its unique once-in-a-lifetime concert experience headlined by some big names, so make sure to get your tickets early.

Every now and then you just need to bust out the dance moves as you reminisce along with the sounds that consumed your youth.

The Apia Good Times Tour returns for its 6th consecutive year with its biggest line-up of Oz music legends yet. Brian Cadd, Marcia Hines, Russell Morris, Leo Sayer and John Paul Young are set to criss-cross the country for this unique, once-in-a-lifetime concert experience, so you can be sure there will be good times all round.

2018’s line-up of legends have a huge array of hits to draw from including Ginger Man, A Little Ray of Sunshine, You, Your Love Still Brings Me to my Knees, The Real Thing, Wings of an Eagle, You Make Me Feel Like Dancing, When I Need You, I Hate the Music and Love Is In The Air, to name a few. Each artist performs a solo set of their hits before joining in an extraordinary finale with all five sharing the stage.

Singer, songwriter, producer, Brian Cadd has truly done it all. Along with this own career, he has written songs for the likes of Joe Cocker, Ringo Starr, John Farnham, Little River Band, Bonnie Tyler, Glen Campbell and The Pointer Sisters. His iconic status was acknowledged when he was inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame in 2007.

Along with Brian, Australia’s beloved musical treasure Marcia Hines AM, will be joining the “Good Times” line up for the first time this year.  Australian Idol’s favourite judge for the show’s seven consecutive years, the legendary former “Queen of Pop” was inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame in 2007 and received the Order of Australia (AM) in 2009 for her services to the Australian Entertainment Industry as a performer, judge and mentor and to the community through a range of charitable organisations.

ARIA Award winner, ARIA Hall of Fame inductee, platinum selling artist and former King of Pop, Russell Morris, is an Australian music icon with his own extensive catalogue of Aussie anthems including The Real Thing, Sweet Sweet Love, Hush, Wings of an Eagle and many more. Another true legend to come and see perform live.

Leo Sayer has carved an incredible worldwide career over four decades including selling 18 million albums and winning a Grammy Award. In the international music charts, there have been more than twenty top ten singles and five top ten albums in Leo’s illustrious recording career.

And finally, John Paul Young, undoubtedly one of the most popular Australian artists of the 70’s, with a string of hits, and over 4 million record sales, cementing him a place in Australia’s music history, will be joining the others to help bring good times all round.

This tour will hit Adelaide at the Thebarton Theatre on Saturday May 19. Tickets to the Apia Good Times Tour go on sale to the general public at 10.00am on Monday February 5, with pre-sale on January 31. This night looks completely set to be a filled with good times and sweet tunes, so make sure to get your tickets here.
